Driving Home Food Safety at the Indy 500

While powerful machines were racing 500 miles in circles, ConnectedFresh kept the the Indy 500 food services team from doing the same. The 2019 Indianapolis 500 brings in 300,000 fans from all over the world and the logistics and coordination involved with feeding fans safely and efficiently is top of mind. ConnectedFresh’s easy to use plug-and-play sensors were deployed in temporary mobile refrigeration units that are brought onsite for the event and trucked away at the end. This allowed the venue food distributor to safely and efficiently track the safety and quality of their products throughout setup and execution of the Indy 500.

ConnectedFresh gave us significant peace of mind with our inventory safety and quality control. We could serve our event-goers and execute day-of operations without worrying about one of our mobile coolers going down and putting our food at risk.
